Both offer the same 8 Classic Shades (ColorMark has an additional 2 Special Shades). The difference is in the applicator. ColorMark is liquid hair color applied with a soft-tip applicator. The TouchBack marker delivers an even flow of hair color continuously.
ColorMark does not flake or rub off because it bonds to the hair. It is real temporary hair color, and can be brushed — unlike hair mascaras, gels, and spray-on powders, which only coat the surface.
ColorMark can be used with all styling products prior to applying ColorMark. Hair spray can be used over it.
ColorMark is temporary hair color and lasts until shampooed out. It delivers hair color for a minimum of 30-40 applications, depending on the amount of gray that needs to be covered.
ColorMark does not change permanent hair color because it does not penetrate the hair shaft. However, it should be shampooed out before the next application of permanent color.
ColorMark only colors gray roots. It cannot make dark hair lighter.
ColorMark uses only certified temporary hair colors. There are no harsh chemicals — no ammonia or peroxide.
You can use ColorMark on chemically relaxed or permed hair. The formula attaches to the outside of the hair. There are no harsh chemicals, like ammonia or peroxide, to damage the hair.
